As we celebrate Wednesday today, I made a selection from my archives again. But this time, it’s one of the most memorable trips in my photo album. As a surprise (I love surprises, sometimes), my boyfriend took me on a trip to the National Great Blacks Museum in Baltimore, Maryland. I didn’t expect the surprise or to see such art. When I thought “wax museum” it just felt like it would include the minimum of a stiff wax figure with no detail that looked simply ordinary. Which is okay to some. The wax figures featured at the National Great Blacks Museum gave you a feel of history and a chance to learn unheard stories of the fight for equality, freedom and abolishment of slavery. These message continued and gave meaning to always dreaming and standing for a purpose. Never give up even when the odds are against you. Stay true
I highly recommend taking the trip to Baltimore, MD & visiting this Museum. Maybe even make a surprise too!
