Needs vs. Wants

We want many things that might not be necessary but the urge to splurge is REAL! I I always start with a "let me treat myself!" before splurging on things I don't need. Making sure to set standards and budget right is important. You have to make sure to know what you really need vs. what you want. Theres huge difference. We all want financial freedom but many of us weren't taught how to do that. Seeing your money (whether is a lot or a little) as an everyday investment is important. Even if you're not working on a business idea or have an Entrepreneur lifestyle. You should always see money as something you are investing in so that you don't end up stressing over it.

Here are some pointers I use for myself.
___________________________
NEEDS vs. WANTS

 1. Write down all your bills ahead of time.

2. See what you spend the most on. Lower that each time you get paid. Bi-weekly or weekly.

3. Ask yourself "Will I really wear or use this for a while or will I waste it and let it collect dust. ( I had to break this bad habit )

4. We all get the excited feeling when the check drops on pay day! Calm down, take a deep breath and resist buying small things in order to fill fulfilled or wealthy. You're not YET, and budget.

5. Nine times out of ten, you really don't need what you even have to think about to buy. That just means you don't' have enough and you have to balance needs which may turn into investments vs. wants.

I hope you grabbed a few nuggets from this post as I am also aiming for these goals and to stay away from slurging! You can also treat yourself to feel happy, but not having to think about it is what I'm aiming for.
