Tid-Bit Tuesday | Save Your Time

One thing I don’t like wasting is time. Trust me, it’s hard. I’m pretty good when it comes to managing time. But, I can always work on it because I wasn’t satisfied with how I spent my days. Granted, I’m still learning. But these are a few tips that helped me be on my A-Game. Remember time management helps you extend your day and do a lot more. Even if you work a 9-5.

  • Keep a notebook at all times! I even bring my notebook to work with me and on my free time, I write down things I need to remember, ideas, thoughts and bills I need to pay. This is actually therapeutic and lets me plan ahead.
  • Set an alarm even on your day off. This will help you get in the routine of waking up early.
  • WAKE UP - You can set an alarm but are you really waking up when you need to. Think of the time you will have saved during the day by starting early. Drag your feet for a maximum of 15mins because we are all allowed to indulge in sleep a little bit.
  • Run errands as early as the store opens. Since I bake, it is important that I keep a certain amount of ingredients at hand. I don't like crowds and the feeling of rushing so shopping early in the morning is my number one life saver. The stores are less crowded, faster check-out, calmer environment, and great parking. This trick also knocks out the burden of grocery shopping late in the day.
  • Create a to-do list ahead of time. To plan out the week, I write down everything I need to accomplish on one of my notebooks.
  • Save all your notebooks and look back at old ideas. You never know what you might revamp or may have forgotten. This taps into your creative again and refreshes your purpose and reason of your hustle.
  • When driving and during lunch at work, I listen to a few of my favorite podcasts about savings, investments, news and advice. This keeps me up to date and helps learn more and centers my thoughts.
  • On my days off, I allow myself and hour or two of watching some of my favorite shows. This is only after I've worked or posted on my business page. It is important to up keep and maintain the vibe of your business.
  • Plan for content and blogs when planning you week. Write ahead of time and edit/save any pictures or captions as well.

I hope this helped and gave a few tips you could use to save time.
