Heels: The Love & Hate Relationship

We’ve all seen that one girl, sometimes a few, walking around bare foot in the club. Yikes & yuck! The first thought that comes to mind are the germs lurking around on the floor. Liquor, weave, lip gloss, spit. Let’s stop there because this is one of my pet-peeves. I’ve been in situations where my toes were crying for mercy, my ankles were shaking (at this all white party lol), and my toes were holding on tight! But I never took my shoes off. I would walk with my aching feet till I get to the car before I let my precious toes touch the ground. The first thing I do is throw my shoes in the backseat and say “*Bleep*, I’m never wearing these again!” But I wear them the next day. Sigh

There’s always that one survivor of a friend hanging behind you trying to make it to the finish line too. Feet hurting like crazy! Good Samaritans asking if you need help on the way to the car, but no you’re a champ! These are the struggles of beauty. Maybe, I shouldn’t wear heels, but I take care of my toes well enough for them to deserve a night out as well. Unfortunately, many of us don’t believe in this method. I get it, you can’t hold on to the bar stand all night. Nor can you dance and dap on ‘em with your six inch heels. I understand, I’ve been there. However; it's unattractive to take your heels off in the club. Especially if you’re single. Find out and learn which heel is suitable for you. Whether it’s a stiletto heel, block heel, or even a baby-heel. (Baby-heels are church shoes to me, this should be your last resort lol) To me, sneakers in the club, depending on the setting, are unacceptable. Stay home and save your money. Once you’re comfortable in the club, everything magical can happen. If you choose to wear that aching heel that you cuss out eachtime, then I recommend a long island ice tea from the bar. Works miracles each time. Lol

Share some of your aching moments below.

Lol the memories! People that remove their shoes in the club should get a ticket.

Lol!!! We’ve been through this PLENTY of times! But we were strong even tho my toes was crunched up like that man’s hand in Scary Movie lmao. I’d NEVER take my shoes off in the club!
